Writing an Airplane (Research Writing at its Best!)

What a day yesterday was! When I say research writing is fun...I mean it. I've been locked in a trunk, practiced getaways, and flown an airplane! Yep, you read that right, I took a discovery flight yesterday to look into lessons all to write a chapter in a book I'm working on.

Funny thing is, I received a call from my son in Tennessee who is writing a novel. He said, "Mom I did a lot of research for my book and I loved it!"

I may have mentioned this in another blog but it's worth a second mention. I told a friend when I'm creative writing, for me, it's like a day of fun at an amusement park! I'm making up new worlds, new people, new scenarios and I absolutely love it. For me, if writing isn't fun, I'm doing it wrong!
