Pulling Power

I love those days when you see something so unique it writes itself. That was today. I was performing a mundane task at work in receiving when I saw a power that spoke to me. It started out with me looking for two types of magnets that were ordered. Only, those little suckers didn't want to be found!

Imagine my surprise (hands slapping my face with mouth wide open) when I pulled out an empty plastic baggy that supposedly had a set of "said" magnets in it.  I put it aside not wanting to deal with it yet and dug through the box some more. As I clawed through, I found another bag that looked empty but it did have one weird shaped screw poking through it. So it went into the "wait until later" pile too.

As my fingernails hit the bottom of the box I was convinced there was nothing loose floating around down there. Nothing left to check in but the magnets, it was time to solve for M. (M = magnet...see what I did there???) It was time to turn my attention to the "later is now" pile.

All stupidity aside, in my dirty hands I held an empty bag and a bag with a solitary weird screw. Upon further inspection, I realized that the magnets were so tiny, they were all stuck together. In fact it was not a weird looking screw poking through the bag but two different sized magnets all stuck together. I finally put 2 + 2 together and realized the majestic act that took place. Those magnets were packed in two different bags but the raw force of attraction forced them together. They had both busted through their bags and found each other.

What a magnificent show of strength! I thought to myself, That's what love you should look like :-)
