Binge Review: There She Goes

BritBox is my latest subscription on my Amazon Fire TV Stick, but I don't utilize it as much as I should. Surfing around looking for something interesting to watch, I decided to give There She Goes a go. I was so glad I did. The series is based off a true story about a baby born with a chromosomal disorder.

There were moments when the emotional value felt like a dump truck just backed up and lost a load on me, but the drop always turned out to be worth its weight...in gold. David Tennant, who plays the father, Simon, has become a tenant in my heart :-) Ahhhh, seriously the guy's sarcasm is fantastic. The banter between he and Jessica Hines who plays the mother, Emily, is representative of what I think I would act like in a situation like theirs.

They really are equally matched as a dynamic duo in this series. Of course, a lot of that is attributed to the writing, but these two pull it off with brilliance. Of course, Miley Locke's acting ability can't be ignored as she plays Rosie the child with the disorder. And her sarcastic brother Ben, played by Edan Hayhurst, adds the perfect mix to a Round Robin of clever banter.

If you're looking for something to get you all up in your feels, this is it...but be warned, it's not for the faint of heart.
