Writing Tip 2

Why do people suggest that you write through your pain? I think it's because most of us live on auto-pilot. We go to our jobs, school, or whatever without thinking about our feelings. Then, when our hearts are punctured we bleed through our tears. We are reflective, digging in, and trying to find the "why" or the "lesson" in our pain. We are the closest that we will ever be to our own heartbeat. Emotions are heightened and the soul is trying to make it all make sense. For me, when the emotions are stirring then the writing is flowing!
